Description: The range of frame sizes to be forwarded onto an Ethernet/802.3 network by this bridge. The value standard(1) represents the standard range of 60 through 1536 bytes. The value extended(2) represents the (non-standard) range of 16 through 2100 bytes.

What is packetSize?

Selects the range of Ethernet/802.3 frame sizes the bridge will forward: standard(1) for the normal 60-1536 byte range, or extended(2) for a non-standard 16-2100 byte range. Administrators use extended mode only when attached equipment specifically requires larger-than-standard frames.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.26.2.20
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HLS-MIB::packetSize

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.26.2.20.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HLS-MIB::packetSize.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.26.2.20.1 i <value>
