nvramAddrTab8000Entry

Module: HLS-MIB

OID (symbolic): HLS-MIB::nvramAddrTab8000Entry

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.26.2.1.6.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Access: read-write

Description: An instance of this object-type exists for each entry in the Address Table stored in Non-Volatile RAM in a HLS 80xx Bridge. The format of the OCTET STRING is: 1st octet: 1 = Static flag set 0 = Static flag not set 2nd octet: 1 = Restrict flag set 0 = Restrict flag not set 3rd octet: 1 = Origin flag set 0 = Origin flag not set 4th octet: 0 = Bridge's own address 1 = Address on Channel 0 2 = Address on Channel 1 3 = Address is global (i.e. on all Channels)

Setting an instance of this object-type to a value of ASN.1 type NULL, causes the identified entry in the Address Table in Non-Volatile RAM to be deleted.

What is nvramAddrTab8000Entry?

Represents one row of the MAC address table stored in the bridge's Non-Volatile RAM, as opposed to the RAM-resident working table, using the same 4-octet Static/Restrict/Origin/channel encoding. Writing an ASN.1 NULL to an instance deletes that entry from the persistent, NVRAM-backed table, so it stays removed across a reboot.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.26.2.1.6.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HLS-MIB::nvramAddrTab8000Entry

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.26.2.1.6.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HLS-MIB::nvramAddrTab8000Entry.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.26.2.1.6.1.1 s <value>
