chOriginMode

Module: HLS-MIB

OID (symbolic): HLS-MIB::chOriginMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.26.2.17.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The status of the Origin mode for this channel. A channel's Origin mode must be enabled in order for the channel to have filtering of non-unicast destination addresses enabled for any individual source addresses.

What is chOriginMode?

Reports/enables Origin mode on this channel, which must be on before per-source-address filtering of non-unicast traffic can take effect. Administrators combine this with the per-address Origin flag to stop specific stations from flooding broadcast/multicast traffic onto other channels.
