chInOverruns

Module: HLS-MIB

OID (symbolic): HLS-MIB::chInOverruns

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.26.2.17.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: The number of received packets for which an overrun error occurred. For channels on which overruns can not occur, this object always has a value of 0.

What is chInOverruns?

Counts received packets lost to a receiver overrun on this channel, i.e. the interface received data faster than it could buffer it. A rising count points to a channel that is overloaded or has a hardware/driver performance issue.
