This read-only counter tracks the number of times the local switch has participated in a Build Fabric (BF) process in this VSAN. Admins watch this counter because a rising BF count usually indicates that isolated fabric segments are merging or that an upstream principal link is repeatedly going down and coming back up. For example, if hh3cVsanDmBFCnt increases every time a particular uplink is reconnected, the admin can correlate that pattern to a flapping physical link rather than a configuration issue.
