hh3cVsanDmAutoReconfigureEnable

Module: HH3C-VSAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): HH3C-VSAN-MIB::hh3cVsanDmAutoReconfigureEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.2.127.1.1.1.2.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: Used to specify whether a disruptive reconfiguration will be automatically performed when the domain ID lists overlaps in fabric merging.

The fabric reconfiguration function takes effect only when the value of hh3cVsanDmDomainConfigureEnable is 'true'.

What is hh3cVsanDmAutoReconfigureEnable?

This writable boolean specifies whether the switch will automatically perform a disruptive fabric reconfiguration when two merging fabrics' domain ID lists overlap in this VSAN. Admins enable this when they want overlapping domain ID conflicts resolved automatically during fabric merges rather than requiring manual intervention, though it only takes effect when hh3cVsanDmDomainConfigureEnable is also true. For example, an admin merging two previously separate SAN fabrics that happen to share domain ID 1 would set hh3cVsanDmAutoReconfigureEnable to true(1) so the switch renumbers domains automatically instead of leaving the merge in a failed state.
