Description: The lower-limit of incoming broadcast taffic at a port within 1 second interval. This value must be lower than hh3cStormCtrlBroadcastUpper value. Its unit depends on hh3cStormCtrlBroadcastUnit value.

What is hh3cStormCtrlBroadcastLower?

This value sets the lower limit, below the upper limit and measured over a 1-second interval in the unit chosen by hh3cStormCtrlBroadcastUnit, that broadcast traffic must fall under before a controlled port is allowed back to normal forwarding. An admin sets this gap between the upper and lower thresholds to add hysteresis, preventing the port from rapidly flapping between controlled and normal status. For example, an upper limit of 3000 packets per second paired with a lower limit of 2000 keeps the port blocked until broadcast traffic drops clearly below the storm threshold.
