hh3cdlswNodeVirtualSegmentLFSize

Module: HH3C-SNA-DLSW-MIB

OID (symbolic): HH3C-SNA-DLSW-MIB::hh3cdlswNodeVirtualSegmentLFSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.8.37.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: LFSize

Access: read-write

Description: The largest frame size (including DLC header and info field but not any MAC-level or framing octets) this DLSw can forward on any path through itself. This object can represent any box- level frame size forwarding restriction (e.g., from the use of fixed-size buffers). Some DLSw implementations will have no such restriction.

This value will affect the LF size of circuits during circuit creation. The LF size of an existing circuit can be found in the RIF (Routing Information Field).

What is hh3cdlswNodeVirtualSegmentLFSize?

The largest DLC frame size (header plus data, excluding MAC/framing overhead) this DLSw device will forward through itself on any path, reflecting any fixed-buffer restriction in the box. Lowering it constrains the frame size negotiated for new circuits; an existing circuit keeps whatever frame size is already recorded in its RIF.
