Description: The index of the eventEntry that is used when a rising threshold is crossed. The eventEntry identified by a particular value of this index is the same as identified by the same value of the eventIndex object. If there is no corresponding entry in the eventTable, then no association exists. In particular, if this value is zero, no associated event will be generated, as zero is not a valid event index.
This object may not be modified if the associated alarmStatus object is equal to valid(1).
What is hh3cprialarmRisingEventIndex?
This identifies which event table entry is triggered when this alarm's rising threshold is crossed. An admin sets this to link a rising threshold crossing to a specific configured event, such as a log entry or trap, with zero meaning no event is generated since zero isn't a valid event index. For example, setting this to 3 means crossing the rising threshold triggers whatever action event index 3 is configured to perform.
