hh3cprialarmInterval

Module: HH3C-RMON-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): HH3C-RMON-EXT-MIB::hh3cprialarmInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.8.4.4.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The interval in seconds over which the data is sampled and compared with the rising and falling thresholds. When setting this variable, care should be taken in the case of deltaValue sampling - the interval should be set short enough that the sampled variable is very unlikely to increase or decrease by more than 2^31 - 1 during a single sampling interval.

This object may not be modified if the associated alarmStatus object is equal to valid(1).

What is hh3cprialarmInterval?

This sets, in seconds, how often the monitored variable is sampled and compared against the rising and falling thresholds. An admin must choose this interval carefully for delta-value sampling so the counter can't wrap by more than 2^31-1 within one interval, and this value can't be changed once the alarm entry's status is set to valid. For example, setting this to 300 samples the target variable every five minutes and compares each new value against the configured thresholds.
