Module: HH3C-RMON-EXT-MIB

OID (symbolic): HH3C-RMON-EXT-MIB::hh3cprialarmFallingEventIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.8.4.4.1.1.11

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The index of the eventEntry that is used when a falling threshold is crossed. The eventEntry identified by a particular value of this index is the same as identified by the same value of the eventIndex object. If there is no corresponding entry in the eventTable, then no association exists. In particular, if this value is zero, no associated event will be generated, as zero is not a valid event index.

This object may not be modified if the associated alarmStatus object is equal to valid(1).

What is hh3cprialarmFallingEventIndex?

This identifies which event table entry is triggered when this alarm's falling threshold is crossed. An admin sets this to link a falling threshold crossing to a specific configured event, with zero meaning no event is generated since zero isn't a valid event index. For example, setting this to 4 means crossing the falling threshold triggers whatever action event index 4 is configured to perform.
