hh3cMinmCapabilities

Module: HH3C-MINM-MIB

OID (symbolic): HH3C-MINM-MIB::hh3cMinmCapabilities

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.2.107.1.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Bits

Access: read-only

Description: This object displays the MAC-in-MAC capabilities with respect to certain fields. The following values may be supported: reEncapsulation: Support for configuring re-encapsulation (denoted by hh3cMinmVsiReEncapsulation). uplink: Support for configuring uplink (denoted by hh3cMinmUplinkTable). vsiShareConnection: It indicates that connection entry is shared in all VSIs. hh3cVsiIndex is meaningless and must be value 1 in hh3cMinmConnectionTable.

What is hh3cMinmCapabilities?

This value is a bitmap reporting which MAC-in-MAC (802.1ah) capabilities the device supports: re-encapsulation, uplink port configuration, and shared connection entries across VSIs. An administrator checks it before attempting related configuration, since setting hh3cMinmVsiReEncapsulation or populating hh3cMinmUplinkTable is only meaningful if the corresponding bit is set here. For example, if only the reEncapsulation bit is set, the device supports per-VSI re-encapsulation but does not support configuring uplink ports through hh3cMinmUplinkTable.
