hh3cdot1qTpFdbGroupSetOperate

Module: HH3C-LswMAM-MIB

OID (symbolic): HH3C-LswMAM-MIB::hh3cdot1qTpFdbGroupSetOperate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.8.35.3.3.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Add or delete a Multicast MAC address. Read operation is meaningless. When adding a Multicast MAC address, it is required to provide MacAddress, VLAN and PortList all. For deleting operation, MacAddress and VLAN must be provided, but hh3cdot1qTpFdbGroupSetPort is optional.

What is hh3cdot1qTpFdbGroupSetOperate?

A read-write enumeration specifying whether to add(1) or delete(2) a multicast MAC address forwarding entry; adding requires the MAC address, VLAN, and port list all be provided together, while deleting requires only the MAC address and VLAN, with the port list optional. This is the action trigger an admin uses to provision or remove a static multicast forwarding entry via SNMP, controlling how a specific multicast MAC address is statically forwarded within a VLAN. An admin statically configuring a multicast group's forwarding ports would set the MAC, VLAN, and hh3cdot1qTpFdbGroupSetPort together with this object set to add(1).
