hh3cifEthernetAutoSpeed
Module: HH3C-LswINF-MIB
OID (symbolic): HH3C-LswINF-MIB::hh3cifEthernetAutoSpeed
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.8.35.5.1.4.1.20
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: SpeedModeFlag
Access: read-write
Description: This object indicates which kinds of speed mode are negotiable on this port.
Only when a bit of hh3cifEthernetAutoSpeedMask is '1', the corresponding bit of this object can be set to '1', indicating the corresponding speed mode is negotiable.
For example, if the value of hh3cifEthernetAutoSpeedMask is 0xA0, which indicates speed mode 's10M' and 's1000M' are negotiable, the possible value of this object should be one of the four values (0x00, 0x20, 0x80 and 0xA0).
If the value of hh3cifEthernetSpeed is not 'auto', the value of this object is insignificant and should be ignored. The value length of this object should be as long as that of hh3cifEthernetAutoSpeedMask.
What is hh3cifEthernetAutoSpeed?
Read-write bitmap selecting which of the port's negotiable speed modes (as allowed by hh3cifEthernetAutoSpeedMask) should actually be offered during autonegotiation; it only matters when hh3cifEthernetSpeed is set to auto. Restrict this to a subset of speeds, e.g. only 1000M, to stop a port from ever negotiating down to a slower rate.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.8.35.5.1.4.1.20 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HH3C-LswINF-MIB::hh3cifEthernetAutoSpeed
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.8.35.5.1.4.1.20.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HH3C-LswINF-MIB::hh3cifEthernetAutoSpeed.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.8.35.5.1.4.1.20.1 s <value>
