Description: The number of received packets of which hops portion is equal to 16.
What is hh3cIpxStatHopsDiscards?
A running count of received packets whose hop count exactly equals 16, the IPX limit at which a packet is considered to have exceeded its maximum path length and is discarded. Admins use this to detect packets that traveled too far, often a sign of a routing loop.
