This object will contain an 8 octet long WWN(World Wide Name), if the value of the associated instance of hh3cFcPingAddressType object is 'wwn'.
This object will contain a 3 octet long Fibre Channel Address ID, if the value of the associated instance of hh3cFcPingAddressType object is 'fcid'.
What is hh3cFcPingAddress?
This object holds the target address to ping over Fibre Channel: an 8-octet WWN if hh3cFcPingAddressType is wwn, or a 3-octet FC Address ID if it is fcid. An admin sets it to the storage array or HBA's known address to test reachability across the fabric, similar to an IP ping target. A 3-octet value like 0x010203 would represent a target's FCID when the fcid addressing type is selected.
