Description: Represents the current maximum size, in octets, of the MPDU that may be delivered to the PHY. A MSDU shall be broken into fragments if its size exceeds the value of this attribute after adding MAC headers and trailers.
What is hh3cDot11FragThreshold?
This sets, in bytes, the maximum MPDU size the radio will hand to the PHY before fragmenting a larger MSDU into smaller pieces, defaulting to 2346. An admin lowers this on a noisy RF link so that a single bit error forces a shorter frame to be retransmitted rather than a longer one, at some cost to overall throughput efficiency.
