This object reports how long, in seconds, a neighbor entry has been aging without a refreshed DLDP advertisement from that neighbor. Admins use it to judge how current a neighbor's tracked state is, since an aging entry can eventually be removed if refresh advertisements stop arriving. For example, a rapidly increasing aging time on a neighbor entry could indicate that neighbor has stopped sending DLDP advertisements, perhaps due to a link or configuration problem.
