OID (symbolic): H3C-FC-NAME-SERVER-MIB::h3cFcNsPortLogoutNotifyEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.10.2.127.10.1.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to determine whether h3cFcNsPortLogoutNotify will be generated for Nx_Port locally logging out.

What is h3cFcNsPortLogoutNotifyEnable?

This object determines whether the switch generates an h3cFcNsPortLogoutNotify trap whenever a Fibre Channel Nx_Port logs out locally from this switch. An administrator enables this to be alerted when a storage device or HBA disconnects from the fabric, which can indicate a planned maintenance action or an unexpected link failure. Setting this to true ensures the next local Nx_Port logout on this switch generates a corresponding notification.
