What is epc8TrapCtrl?

This object selects whether SNMP traps are sent and, if so, which SNMP version to use: 0 for off, 1 for version 1, or 2 for version 2c. Admins set this to enable trap notifications and choose the trap format compatible with their monitoring system. For example, an admin whose NMS expects SNMPv2c traps would set epc8TrapCtrl to 2 rather than leaving traps off or using version 1.
