What is getSubtreeRootOID?
This object holds the root OID identifying the top of the MIB subtree a manager wants an agent to walk and return in bulk. It lets a manager configure exactly which branch of the agent tree a GetSubtree operation should retrieve, avoiding a manual sequence of GetNext requests. For example, an admin might set this to the ifTable OID root to have the agent trap back the entire interface table in one operation.
