Description: Forces a soft reset on the network element. The reset selection is write only. The normal selection is read only.
What is bqlSoftReset?
A write-only trigger that forces a soft reset of the network element when set to 'reset'; reading the object back always returns 'normal'. An admin sets this to reset to remotely reboot a hung or misbehaving unit without needing physical access to power-cycle it.
