What is cmnAlarmStatusIdentifier?

This object holds the unique alarm identifier (an OBJECT IDENTIFIER) assigned to a specific alarm type, structured to encode the product family and alarm type within the GDC enterprise OID space. An admin uses this identifier to determine exactly which named alarm (as defined in the family-specific alarm MIB) a given status table entry refers to. For example, this OID might resolve to a specific alarm defined in a companion family MIB, such as a "loss of signal" alarm for a particular interface type.
