Description: Forces a soft reset on the network element. The reset selection is write only. The normal selection is read only.
What is uas7616SoftReset?
Writing reset(2) to this object forces a software reset of the network element; reading it back always shows normal(1) once the reset completes, since the reset value itself is write-only. An admin uses this to remotely reboot a hung 7616 card without a truck roll.
