Discontinuities in the value of this counter can occur at re-initialization of the management system, and at other times as indicated by the value of ifCounterDiscontinuityTime, defined in IF-MIB.
What is gBondEthBceTcInCrcErrors?
This counter tracks PTM-TC CRC errors detected by the receive function on a G.Bond/Ethernet bonding channel element (BCE), per WT-159 attribute aChannelPtmTcRxCrcErrors, and can experience discontinuities at re-initialization. Admins monitor this to detect data integrity problems, such as line noise, affecting an individual bonded channel. For example, a rising CRC error count on one channel while others remain clean suggests a physical layer problem on that specific link.
