What is rEtherStatsIndex?
This integer (1-65535) is the unique row index for one Ethernet-statistics entry in the RMON stats table, one row per monitored interface. An admin uses it to pick out the counters for a specific interface, for example rEtherStatsIndex 3 identifying the third monitored Ethernet segment.
