Description: Enable/Disable Spanning Tree. A (1) enables, a (2) disables.

What is spanOnOff?

This enables (1) or disables (2) the Spanning Tree Protocol on the switch. Admins turn this on in networks with redundant links to prevent loops, and may turn it off in simple, single-path topologies to reduce convergence delay.
