rtpArmCiMultipartNum

Module: FSC-RTP-MIB-ALARM-MGMT

OID (symbolic): FSC-RTP-MIB-ALARM-MGMT::rtpArmCiMultipartNum

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4329.2.1.2.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: This is the sequence number of the trap if multiple 'rtpArmCorrIdTrap' traps are sent to transfer the complete list of correlated IDs for 'rtpEvtCurrId' (see rtpArmCorrIdTrap!). The first part of a so called 'multipart trap' has the value 1. If the list fits into a single trap (see rtpArmCiCorrIDs - octet string), this value is also 1.

A GET request on this object always returns 0.

What is rtpArmCiMultipartNum?

This read-only value gives the sequence number of the current part when a rtpArmCorrIdTrap's correlated-ID list is too large for one SNMP PDU and must be split across multiple traps, starting at 1 for the first part. An admin's management station uses it together with rtpArmCiAmountOfParts to reassemble the full list of correlated alarm IDs cleared by a single event, though a direct GET on this object always returns 0. For example, a management station receiving traps carrying multipart numbers 1, 2, and 3 knows to concatenate the rtpArmCiCorrIDs from all three to get the complete cleared-alarm list.
