Setting this object to 'clear' clears the indexed alarm object by removing all related alarms; the related conceptual rows in 'rtpArmAlarmTable' are removed.
Setting this object to 'nothing' has no effect.
What is rtpArmAlarmObjectAction?
This read-write control lets an admin clear all active alarms belonging to the indexed Alarm Object type by setting it to clear(1); a GET always returns nothing(0). It's the mechanism for bulk-dismissing every related row in rtpArmAlarmTable for that alarm type in one SNMP SET, rather than deleting entries individually. For example, setting rtpArmAlarmObjectAction to clear(1) on a power-supply alarm-object row removes every currently active power-supply alarm from the alarm table at once.
