Description: Enable/Disable the filtering of established TCP packets of which the ACK or RESET flag is on. This additional filter only applies to TCP transport protocol.

What is snRtIpFilterEstablished?

This enables or disables an additional filtering condition that matches TCP packets with the ACK or RESET flag set (i.e. packets belonging to an already-established connection), applicable only to TCP entries. Admins enable this on a filter meant to allow return traffic for connections initiated from inside the network while still blocking new inbound connection attempts.
