What is snBgp4GenAlwaysCompareMed?
Global switch controlling whether the router always compares the MULTI_EXIT_DISC (MED) attribute between paths learned from neighbors in different autonomous systems, rather than only among paths from the same AS. Set to enabled(1) when you want MED to influence best-path selection across AS boundaries, e.g. to prefer one upstream provider's advertised entry point over another's.
