Description: This is the normal burst size that determines how large traffic bursts can be before some traffic exceeds the rate limit. This specifies the number of bytes that are guaranteed to be transported by the network at the average rate under normal conditions during committed time interval. This normal burst size is in bytes.
What is snPortCARLimit?
This value is the normal burst size in bytes, the amount of traffic guaranteed to be transported at the committed rate during a burst before packets start being treated as exceeding the limit. Admins tune it to allow for short traffic spikes without immediately triggering the rate limit's exceed action. For example, raising snPortCARLimit lets a link absorb brief bursts, such as a quick file transfer, without those packets being marked as non-conformant.
