What is fvSysEventCode?

This notification-only object reports which type of system-level event occurred, such as systemHalt, systemReboot, systemReload, or systemUpgrade. It's carried as a varbind in system-event traps so the NMS knows exactly what happened to the FortiVoice appliance without needing to poll separately. For example, a trap carrying fvSysEventCode set to systemReboot(2) tells the admin the appliance restarted, prompting a check for an unplanned outage versus scheduled maintenance.
