forcesAssociationCounterDiscontinuityTime
Module: FORCES-MIB
OID (symbolic): FORCES-MIB::forcesAssociationCounterDiscontinuityTime
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.187.1.2.1.1.10
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TimeStamp
Access: read-only
Description: The value of sysUpTime on the most recent occasion at which any one or more of this association's counters suffered a discontinuity. The relevant counters are the specific instances associated with this association of any ZeroBasedCounter32 object contained in the forcesAssociationTable. If no such discontinuities have occurred since the last reinitialization of the local management subsystem, then this object contains a zero value.
What is forcesAssociationCounterDiscontinuityTime?
This read-only value records the sysUpTime of the most recent discontinuity in any of this association's ZeroBasedCounter32 message counters, or zero if none has occurred since the last reinitialization. An admin should check this timestamp before trusting a simple before/after delta on the heartbeat or operational message counters, since a discontinuity after that point invalidates the comparison. For example, a recent discontinuity timestamp paired with a low forcesAssociationHBMsgSent value explains that the counter was reset, not that the CE just started sending heartbeats.
