Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: NMSNEConnState
Access: read-only

What is neConnState?
Reports whether NETSMART's management agent currently has live communication with this NE: connected(1) or notConnected(2). NETSMART sends an nmsNEStateChangeEvent trap whenever this flips, so an admin watching this object (or the trap) can tell when an NE has dropped off management rather than just gone quiet.
