Description: Value ON of this attribute indicates the sensor's operation Stand Alone mode . Internal ports are disabled and the card functions in a local star configuration toward its external ports.
What is genGroupStandAloneMode?
Setting this to on(1) puts the module's sensor into Stand Alone operation, disabling internal (backplane) ports so the card functions as a local star toward only its external ports. An admin enables this to isolate a module from the chassis backplane for independent testing or a dedicated point topology.
