Description: The work mode of the core switch, now it can work in following three modes: sniDestinated: SNI port is specified,all internal port (connected with OLT LNP port) exchange traffic with the only one specified SNI port, all other SNI port is not in use in this mode. When set to this mode, the ONUs registered on different PON port(OLT) can not communicate each other transparent: Each SNI port corresponding to one PON port, and the port pairs are isolate each other normal: lay2 switch mode
What is switchMode?
Sets which traffic-forwarding mode the core switch uses: sniDestinated routes all internal PON/OLT-facing ports to a single designated SNI uplink port, transparent pairs each SNI port 1:1 with a PON port in isolation, and normal runs it as an ordinary Layer 2 switch. An admin changes this to control whether ONUs on different PON ports can talk to each other; sniDestinated mode specifically blocks that inter-ONU communication.
