connUnitStatus

Module: FCMGMT-MIB

OID (symbolic): FCMGMT-MIB::connUnitStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.3.94.1.6.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Overall status of the connectivity unit. The goal of this object is to be the single poll point to check the status of the connunit. If there is any other component that has warning, then this should be set to warning, etc.

What is connUnitStatus?

The single roll-up health indicator for the whole connectivity unit - ok(3), warning(4), or failed(5) - designed to be the one object an admin polls to know if *anything* on the unit needs attention, since any warning/failure on a sub-component (port, sensor, etc.) bubbles up to set this.
