Description:
The World Wide Name of the port, or the zero-length string if the port does not have a WWN.
What is fcmPortWwn?
This object stores the World Wide Name (WWN) identifier of a Fibre Channel port, or an empty string if the port does not have a WWN assigned. The WWN uniquely identifies the port within the entire Fibre Channel fabric, similar to a MAC address in Ethernet. Operators use this to correlate SNMP monitoring with Fibre Channel fabric management tools and verify port identity in SAN environments.
