What is fcmPortSerialNumber?
This object stores the unique serial number associated with a Fibre Channel port, such as the identifier on a GBIC (Gigabit Interface Converter) module. Network operators use this to track and manage physical ports in their Fibre Channel switches or host adapters. If the port doesn't have an associated serial number, the field is left empty.
