Description: The number of invalid frame delimiters received at this port. An example is a frame with a class 2 start and a class 3 at the end.
What is fcmPortDelimiterErrors?
This counter measures frame delimiters that arrive at a Fibre Channel port in an invalid configuration, such as a frame starting with one class of service and ending with a different incompatible class. Network engineers monitor this metric to detect cabling faults, transceiver mismatches, or protocol violations on the SAN. High values indicate physical or link-layer problems requiring investigation.
