Description: The number of times that F_RJT was returned to this port as a result of a Class 2 frame that was rejected by the fabric. Note that this counter will never increment for an F_Port.
What is fcmPortClass2RxFrjtFrames?
This OID counts how many Class 2 (guaranteed delivery) frames were rejected by a Fibre Channel (storage network) switch fabric and returned to the port as a rejection message. Tracking this shows how often devices' storage requests are being refused due to congestion or errors. A storage administrator watching high rejection rates would investigate fabric congestion and either upgrade switch capacity or rebalance traffic across ports.
