Description: Indication of the fan air flow direction, either from Power supply towards the port or from the port towards the power supply.
What is hpicfFanAirflowDirection?
This read-only object reports the actual, physical airflow direction of an installed fan, either from the power supply toward the port side or from the port side toward the power supply, per the HpicfDcFanAirflowDirection convention. It is the counterpart to the writable hpicfFanUserPrefAirflowDir preference, letting the switch (or an admin) detect when an installed fan's real direction doesn't match the configured preference. For example, if this reports powerToPort(2) while the preference is set to portToPower(1), it signals a fan module was installed backwards relative to the site's intended cooling airflow.
