What is bigipSystemCheckAlertMilliVoltageLow?

This notification (trap) fires when the F5 BIG-IP load balancer detects that internal power supply voltage has dropped below acceptable levels. Operators monitor this alert to detect power supply degradation or failure before it impacts device operation. It is essential for data center teams managing network availability to respond to this alert by checking power supplies and preventing system shutdown.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB::bigipSystemCheckAlertMilliVoltageLow
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.4.0.127

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public

Example snmptrapd log entry:
