What is bigipLogEmerg?

This is a notification (trap) that fires when the F5 BIG-IP system reaches an emergency state, indicating the system is in an unusable or critical condition. Emergency-level events require immediate administrator intervention to restore service. An operator would set up monitoring and alerting on this trap to ensure rapid response to catastrophic system failures.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
