Description:

Prober Pool Enabled.

What is bigipGtmProberPoolEnabled?

This notification is generated when a prober pool becomes enabled and operational in an F5 Global Traffic Manager system. Prober pools are collections of monitoring agents that perform health checks and collect metrics on network services across geographically distributed locations. Operators receive this notification to confirm that global monitoring and traffic steering based on real-time health data has been activated.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB::bigipGtmProberPoolEnabled
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.4.0.100

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
