Description:

A link is enabled in global traffic management module.

What is bigipGtmLinkEnabled?

This notification is sent when a network link is transitioned to an enabled state in the Global Traffic Management module of an F5 BIG-IP system. Network administrators use this event to confirm that a previously disabled link has been restored to service and is now available for traffic steering decisions. The trap helps track changes to the WAN link pool configuration in real time.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB::bigipGtmLinkEnabled
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.4.0.47

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
