A data center is becoming unavailable in global traffic management module.

What is bigipGtmDcNotAvail?

This notification (alert) fires when a data center becomes unavailable for global traffic distribution. Receiving this alert means the system can no longer send traffic to that location. An operator responds by failing traffic over to other data centers or investigating the unreachable site.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB::bigipGtmDcNotAvail
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.4.0.65

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
