What is bigipGtmAppObjAvail?

This F5 BIG-IP notification indicates that an application object managed by the Global Traffic Management (GTM) module has become available or recovered from an outage. It is sent when a previously unavailable application resource (pool member, virtual server, etc.) regains connectivity and can accept traffic. Operations teams use this alert to confirm successful failover recovery or resource restoration.

Examples

Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):

snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB::bigipGtmAppObjAvail
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.4.0.69

Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):

snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
