What is bigipDosAttackStop?
This notification is generated when the F5 BIG-IP system detects that a Denial-of-Service (DOS) attack has stopped on a monitored resource. The notification provides details about the attack event that has ended. Operators use this alert to confirm that a detected DOS threat has been mitigated or has naturally ended.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' F5-BIGIP-COMMON-MIB::bigipDosAttackStop snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.3375.2.4.0.134
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
